I'ts Been A Very Good Week

Friday-
It was cool weather today and I think I fell back into my winter mode. I enjoyed a lazy day, no deadlines, although my deadlines are self imposed, that still counts…doesn’t it? No place to be; and I enjoyed every minute of the day. We drove to Kendall’s to pick up my prescription, and then went to visit with mom for a while. I came home and made My Famous Chicken Soup and looked at recipe books. I have a few, 200 and counting. Mom had a hair appointment this afternoon and came to our house afterwards. The three of us had big piping hot bowls of pure comfort. Mmmm….I’m telling you, it truly was! Mom and I played Scrabble after we finished filling our tummies.

Since it’s been a lazy day and I’m glazed over from too much of MFCS I will just give you a short recap of my week.
Monday –Ladies Bible Class and a ‘Fax’ was born. I love my Mondays because it means I will spend a couple of hours with my gal-friends. Spent time on the computer, and yes, for me that’s a daily ‘given’.
Tuesday-I don’t think I left the house; did some cooking, cleaning and laundry, writing and computer surfing.
Wednesday- Ah yes, got my pearly whites cleaned, more domestic chores, hanging out with my man and bible class in the evening.
Thursday- visited on the phone, read a while, went to our Thursday night bible class, that’s always a treat. It was hosted by Ted and Ellen this week. We are so blessed to have wonderful friends. We cherish our times together.

I’m in the Word everyday, looking, wondering, learning and everyday I’m talking to God. It’s a good life!
